    dual exhaust on a gm

umm, i just want to spend a little bit of cash for dual exhaust..
what im gonna do is replace the muffler with a glasspack bottle and from there i was gonna have a y-pipe, and i was wondering what kinda pipe i should put from there, i was thinking 1.75" or 2"..possibly 2.25 or 2.5..haha
i was wondering what would sound nice and still be louder then a mother fucker..?(92 GM 281v8)..and i was gonna keep tailpipe+muffler for future use(maybe)

    -thanks

Go to a junkyard and pull the duals off a car. Only cost me $33. You already have duals up to the y so you can bolt it up to the cats from there. You'll have better sound, performance and fuel economy.

the pipes are stainless steel too.......if you cut the pipes off right at the welds on the mufflers, you can use the h and the tails with some new decent performance muflers........the pipes never rust out too

          duals

I have thre ten foot lengths of 2" I.D. exhaust pipe, I may buy the required number of stainless elbows/etc. and weld up my own system.
I may use either stainless mufflers or stainless "glass packs" on it.
