I run a 245 wide tire up front on an 8.5" rim with no rubbing and a 275 out back with no rubbing.

i run a 255/50/16 on a 7inch rim, so you can prob throw some 295's out there if you really wanted to

I have 325s on the back of mine, they stick out and rub, but my wheels does not have enough backspace. Im going to see if i can run the current 15x10 upfront with like a 285 or so and then get another pair of 15X10 for the rear but with 5" of backspacing. That should allow the 325s to fit under the fender and not rub.

245's on mine with no problems. There is another guy running IIRC 18x9's with some fairly large tires.

What year Panther do you drive/own? What wheel size do you have on the car currently?

its an 86 grand marquis, the rims i'm getting put on are 16X8 5 inch backspacing (i have 1 inch spacers on the way to take care of the backspacing problem)
