hi i was wondering what the widest tire i can run on an 8inch rim for the front of my merc? also whats the widest that will fit the rear of the merc? thanks guys!

I run a 245 wide tire up front on an 8.5" rim with no rubbing and a 275 out back with no rubbing.

I have 325s on the back of mine, they stick out and rub, but my wheels does not have enough backspace. Im going to see if i can run the current 15x10 upfront with like a 285 or so and then get another pair of 15X10 for the rear but with 5" of backspacing. its an 86 grand marquis, the rims i'm getting put on are 16X8 5 inch backspacing (i have 1 inch spacers on the way to take care of the backspacing problem)
