I have tried everywhere else to find these... thought MAYBE someone on here knows where i can find some of these:
They are window crank covers... they snap on to the window crank shaft, so someone can't turn the shaft, and lower the windows... They used to use them on police cars, to keep prisoners from escaping.. (They turn freely on the shaft... so you can't turn the shaft) And also for kids safety type of thing... Anyway... there used to be a police supply place that carried them... but they said "we quit selling those along time ago..." Figures... Since I need TWO of them to go on my 84.... I have sort of "rigged" two out of the plastic covers that the power window conversion kits come with.... But I would like to find some of these... They are like a spun aluminum, and they snap on the shaft with a spring steel insert on the back side.... Anyone comes across any, or knows where they sell them... PLEASE let me know!!!!
