    FINALLY found another wagon

I picked this one up for less than $300

It runs and drives, and seems to have minimal rust.

I am thinking of calling it "Herkimer" after the vehicle on Mystery Men.

This one is destined to have, ultra deep gears, my spare trac loc, and at least 31" tires if not bigger. It will do trailer pulling, and light off road duty. )not to mention the wife won't back it into anything because she will be ashamed to be seen in it. LOL!
It will rarely if ever see 65mph again, so driveshaft vibes and cornering are not too much of an issue.

My worst enemies are those who presume me to be harmless. They cannot imagine how much I resent and disdain them, or just how great a threat they would face if I could get at them. Everything in their behavior speaks of insult and presumptuousness, and for now it is all I can do to make constructive use of my anger toward them. At this time, I just make a list of them and keep a watch on. Some day, with the help of time, space, and circumstance, I will be able to humiliate them properly - not in a manner they would enjoy, but in a style calculated to make them wish that they had never been born.

                Dear Wagoneers,
Congratulations to Bryan. They didn't make many wagons - as I recall 6/8 k a year and the airport cab companies bought as many of the used ones as they could. I sometimes see blue hair models on Ebay but they're getting scarce. I'd sort of like to have another for a parts car - but on the other hand. Donald McCaig

Yep these things seem to either be, so beat up you would be better off not buying them, or else garage queens. I was already bidding on one that had not been started in over 4 years, when this one came up. I take possesion of it on saturday. I am soooo looking forward to it.
I think I will get it all cleaned up and checked out before I pick a nickname for it though.

I cant seem to find a reasonably priced wagon.

I'd buy boxman's if i was closer to it.

GMGT, where are you stationed these days.
I have a lead on an uber nice 86-7 MGM wagon that will need a tranny soon.
It can probably be had for around $800. If anyone is interested I can see if it is still there.

Curious, to what happened to the 1991 gray wagon in pic?

I used to have a 1988 gray GM wagon and it got stolen from guy who got it from me.

I still have the 91 wagon. It is sitting out in the driveway.
I haven't been driving it for over a year now but I keep it started and just took it for a spin on saturday.
It is getting a 351w and a C6. I have 99% of the parts to do it, but I don't want to start on it, until I know I will have enough time to finish it. I hate starting big projects and then stopping in the middle for a month or two. WHen I come back to them, it takes me way to long to remember where everything goes, and what I have already done. Not to mention a pilfering uncle who is liable to walk off with a small but critical part or two just for fun.

I went back and forth for a year deciding if I should get anohter 5.0 Panther, but this navy blue Marq is what I wanted years ago. And these cars are disappearing, So, jumped back.

It's got a Y code axle, yay, better than the 8!
