Grill with lights??

Whas there a grill for the 79-87 LTD/CV's with dual headlights that had lights in the grill? I know the LTD-S had that style grill but did any others? I need a grill for my 79. I found one forsale but the guy said it fits 79-82 with dual lights but it has lights in the grill. Do you think he means the single head light LTD-S grill?

I just want to make sure it will fit my car before I buy it.

I don't think they fit but nobody has really ever tried it. We've just looked at pics on the net round here and decided it might not work. It would be cool if it did fit tho.

Scott tried it, they don't work. Also, yes...LTD S is the only box that came with lights in the grille.

Do like I did, it looks good, you could also find the LTD-S grill with the lights, and cut the light parts out and merge it with your grill with some epoxy or the like.

You are suggesting cutting up an extremely rare panther part?

This grill was like $70 so it's too much $$ to buy just to cut up. If I was going to do that I'd just get some 70 Mach 1 grill lights or Maverick ones(same as the Mach ).

I'm just looking for a replacement for my 79 grill. It's cracked right down the middle.
