as far as the suspention design goes for slapping a newer rearend into a box... was it 98??? or please tell me it was 2002 or so when they made everything all funky.

Reason I ask is becuase the soon to be parted out 98 cvp71 has a trac lock 3.55 rear. I want it!!!

on a side note, this thing is in the yard for a cracked bumper support or something stupid - the state police allready put a salvage title on it. This thing REALLY makes me wish I had a civvie 93-97 I could spruce up with this thing. GAAAHHHH!!!

the suspension up to and including 97 is the same. In 98 they went to a parallel 4-bar set up, prior to that they had a unparallel 4-bar.

Yea, they added the watts linkage in '98, or whatever.

Yes :stupid: I don't know what it would take to put the watts linkage on a box but I think it would be sweet if you did. The rear end is nice and planted with the watts.

It would be a big undertaking to make the 98+ watts fit a box. Would be easier to make one or modify a mustang one to fit.
