    Compression #'s for a 4.6

Ok when it warms up I'm going to get a compression tester and check to see how the vic is doing in this area. What is the PSI per cylinder I should have?

    Thanks,
    Zack

    I use to know this!
    Do it with a 5spd!

There is no set number to look for, just make sure that the lowest cylinder is within 75% of the highest.

      For reference.

IIRC 120-170 ish but all should be within 25%, If one wasnt you would feel a miss type engine feeling.

So what did you get? I am curious to know because I have my compression numbers now as well. Mine were all about 162-168psi.

Haven't done it yet. It is starting to get nice again so it is time I do it.

Remember to record them and then you can go back and see how much wear you are getting. 160's is pretty damn good.
