    Gray interior.

Im in the process of converting my yellow interior to a gray interior. I have already bought headliner. (3 yards for $25, more than enough to do mine) Also have a little over 3 cans of Presido Gray SEM dye. I can get new premolded carpet for around $120.

The only thing i cant really buy new is belts. Did any boxes come with gray interiors? If so what years? i just need the front belts. If any one has a pair let me know ill buy them, provided the car they came out of has not been in an accident.

Can't dye those too? I'd think that possibly a grey leather TC might have a close enough color....I can't remember the color of the belts in the car I stripped...

I dyed the short belt on my 97 since for some reason it came with a blue belt in a gray interior. I put about 5 coats on it. It looked good for a while but it did not hold up well for too long. Ill look at some Town cars. The shade is not too critical. the dash and trim will be the same as dark gray in my 97, while the headliner will be a lighter color than the light gray in my 97.

Alright. might be going to the yard this weekend, id hope that out of the 30-40 boxes they normally have one would have gray belts.

There's a lot of boxes out there with Gray interiors. You could swap everything over without dying anything.

getting all the pieces at the yard here would get real costly. i got 3 cans of dye for under $20.

Eh, you got a point lol. Only disadvantage is it might come off over time, especially areas that get a lot of use.

Townies had grey. Can't say I've seen a whole lot of CV or GM in grey, but I'd be extremely surprised if the seat belts were actually any different.

I did my headliner today. i now have a raised "LTD" script in my headliner. the letters are about 12" high and span the entire flat width of the headliner. Ill have pics tomorrow, since i forgot to take my camera to work.
