    Alignment specs

thought I would share the alignment specs sent to me from Ned Nuss, now retired, senior Panther chasiss engineer at Ford.

"I like to max out the caster, being careful not to bias it more than one half degree. The car will pull very slightly to the low caster side. Because of road crown it's best to have lower caster on the left side.
NOTE.. Ned is refering to maximum Positive caster, which is about 5-6 degrees

Toe should be slightly out - about 1/16 inch

Camber should be 1/2 degree negative. For better cornering increase the negative camber, but high caster gives camber in cornering and accomplishes the same thing."

Ned and I were discussing the alignment settings after completing a big brake conversion on my car and these settings have been successfully used on a '93CV with the big brake conversion, so I know they work for '92 and up. Not sure how well it would work on the stock Box body, pre-92 front suspension.

nope, not done yet. I still need upper control arms and bushings. I spent all my tax return money (and then some) on the rest of the parts.
