ECM location questions

These questions has probably been asked a million times. Where's the engine computer located in the car? What engine computers came in the Box Panthers from the factory ('86-'91)? Which computer is the best?

The computer is located in the car right above your brake pedal, if you look under the hook you will see the wiring harness in that area at the firewall. There is one bolt holding in the harness, take that out and the computer should slip out from inside the car.
