    84 grand marquis 2 dr production numbers

    Hi i just baught a 84 grand marqius 2 door for $300, It came in to the auto wreckers i work at, and it was the first 2 dr grand marquis i have seen exept for one crown vic 2 door and that was it, Im just wondring if any one knows how many 84 grand marquis where actualy made?

        For 1987 there were only 5,527 2 door CV's, which should be about the same for MGM 2 doors. I see a couple of Crown Vic coupes, but I've only seen one other MGM coupe in person beside mine and the ones on this site. I wonder if I own one of the last 2 door MGM's?
        Current rides - 1991 Ford Thunderbird 3.8 v6 (gas saver/DD) - New Heads/Headgaskets with ARP studs, Air Silencer Delete, 70mm MAF, Plasti-dipped Matte Black with a Silver Metalflake Overlay, Muffler Delete, some LED's, 30.233 MPG for high MPG average!
        2006 Jeep Wrangler 4WD (fun vehicle/backup DD) - 4.0/6spd - too many mods to list.

        Father's 1994 Ford Crown Victoria - Stock, 45,000 miles.
        Sold in 2007 - 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis LS "Grandpa Special" 2 door.
