yeah, use a console from a newer grand marq crown vic towncar, etc, or make your own with some wood and fiberglass, toss in your stereo headunit and some gauges and switches, click on petes panther of the month, take his console idea and make it longer mabye???jay--1983 towncar, 302v8 cfi, dual straight pipes w/resonators ,edelbrock motor goodies, custom interior, full custom stereo system, full rebuilt trunk audio setup, custom paint...more to come......

Use a console out of a newer Panther, good luck finding one, besides they are all coloum shift. Just walk through a junkyard and find one that you like, that or build your own. I built on for my 97. the lid lifts up for storage, also has the crossovers for the stereo. I have a 80mm computer case fan in the front that draws cool air into the console and cools everything. Also have a 4D maglite attached to the lid.

I've been toying with the idea of cutting and pasting a Fox mustang console into the wagon...I'd just hate to lose the seats.Nick
