    Tranny Question

Is it normal to find metal filings on the tranny dipstick? I had my '91 AOD tranny serviced for the first time about a month ago. There is no difference in the shifting but I'm worried about the amount of filings.
    Thanks..

any amount of metal is not a good thing.

my first guess would be the needle bearing behind the sunshell, they are notorious for pitting. it may last a while, buta rebuild is in your future.

It's safe to say that for pretty much any AOD owner, isn't it?
