    Hi,
Welcome to GMN. I don't really have any info for you since I'm not familier with a Marquis that old, but I can say that we need pictures of this thing in any case.

And moved to the classics forum, since its kinda more appropriate there.

Sounds like a cool car. Might have to modify truck headers.

I have seen late 60s and early 70s full size LTDs with FE engines and hedders. With the chassis being the same, I am sure there is something out there that will work.
Speed cost....how fast u wanna go??

It's not how much hp u have...
It's how much hp u can put to the track...

Let's seperate the men from the boys and put that power to the track using street tires and stock suspension components

I'm not surer, because of the 390bb in it, but for the barge bodies w/ a 460bb:

The headers have to be custom, they don't make them for the barge bodies. I did a search and remember someone starting with truck headers, but might have well started from scratch. Must have been a good deal instead of buying the flanges.

I had an exhast tick and used some black majic still holds up. It's really the cabon doing the work now.

You also used bondo on a radiator, and it held up.

                how do you do it??

Heh, well the I had to re-apply bondo 3 times in 2 years, before I decide she deserved a new radiator. It's amazing what you can do when you're determained not to spend any money. I guess it's the car gods.

I can't wait till they make headers for barge bodies. It has to be done!

Jive, I didn't realize you're new. Welcome, Do you have any pics of you barge we can masturbate to? lol
