I also think 87gtVIC's idea is a good one. Perhaps if all of the photos submitted of panthers through the years for PotM are still available, something could be set up such that they rotate every week or even daily.

Thank you to everyone who got the site functioning normally again. Doesn't appear to be broken like it was and we can like stuff. Need a dislike button though, because it is ok to dislike stuff, contrary to popular western belief.

For the banners... I'd be cleaner completely without them. Replace the "rustic" logo with a simple-ish banner that doesn't need to change according to potm or anything. Something like what crownvic.net has. Or maybe just add some sort of slogan below the URL logo.
I don't know what position RockAuto has on this forum in terms of sponsorship or what, but I guess the banner exists for a reason.

I whipped these up with my (worse than sly's) graphic design skills, mostly an idea put on paper, no effort really.

Oh and just please change out the pictures for the Panther of the month. I admit I abandoned the deal years ago as there was little to no participation. I would change it myself if I could. It kills me all these years seeing a car up there from a member who does not participate or visit the forum all that much. I dont care at all what goes up there as long as it is something different.

Smilies are fixed. Also fixed the site banner to add RA and ADTR links and made a new site logo to replace the big Vbulletin logo at the top of the page. I tried for a slightly rust look in the font. Best I can do as I'm not a graphics expert. Got attachments working. If anything else is messed up, let us know. I gotta go change oil in a couple of vehicles and mow the lawn (yeah... hopefully for the last time this "winter").
