    1988 Gand Marquis

Hi everbody, my name is Ryan. I recently purchased a 1988 Grand Marquis for $100. it has 157,000 miles on it. the only problem i'm having with it is the heater, i replaced the themostat (180 degree), heater core, heater hoses, raidiator cap but it still does not heat... any suggestions. my future plans for this car is to put dual exhaust on and replace the EFI setup with an edelbrock intake and carb. here are some pics

I took a look at the blend door today and moved it to the full hot position. i put a thermometer in the defrost vent and it the temp ranged from 115-120 degrees, is that a normal temp?

Looks like a nice find! Is there an old T-Bird parked beside it?

The car you see in the background is a 1975 Ford Elite. my uncle diden't have room to store it so he gave the car to my brother for free!!. it has a 351W engine, C-4 transmission and a 9" rear-end with posi. this car is far from showroom condition, but it is fast and has enough tourqe to roast the tires off.:3gears:

here is a list of the engine mods:
              -edelbrock 600cfm carb
              -edelbrock performer intake
              -MSD ignition
              -MSD pro billet distributor
              -302 H.O. cam
              -3" dual exhaust
              -flowmaster super 44 mufflers
              -Ford Racing valve covers

              I'll post some pics later
