The plastic on those is trash, I think we've all replaced or tried to repair one because it broke.

My kids broke mine on the passenger front. The more modern stuff in the driveway pushes down to go down. When they pushed down, it was instant death.

Holy hell these have become expensive. I guess its due to those screws on the bottom always breaking the plastic that surrounds them. I know I have sets from my 91 GM, 89 CV, and now my current 87 GM and they're all brittle and in various states of repair with glue and such. I'd be weary spend that kind of cash on one just to press to roll down a window and having the controls plop into the door frame.
