    I always feel better with something heavy duty holding up what is over me.

    Tooltopia generally has very good prices. So take a look at their other stuff if you have been lusting after a particular tool or two. Not the best customer service but cheap prices.

    6 tons are nice. I have a pair of 3 tons and they have to be nearly fully extended to even fit under the car. The 6 tons go higher of course, but generally make me feel better since they have a larger base.

      I know what you mean, I use the little 3 Ton Craftsman (Chinese) jacks (they were a gift) sometimes but I never feel 100% knowing they are imported. Then I use my Watco 5 tons (that I bought 30 years ago) and feel secure. These from tooltopia would be a lifetime investment like my Watco's.

      Plus, like you said, with the bigger stands the car goes up higher making it easier to work.

        I probably have the same Craftsman 3 tons, also a gift.
