    I don't have a smart phone but the idea was interesting so I looked it up for reviews. According to Amazon it got pretty mixed reviews. Some people said the tool would tell them there's no engine codes even though when they went through the digital dash on their car they could see there were. Also, there was a couple people complaining that everything besides scanning and resetting codes you have to pay extra for. (App upgrades) so the price ended up being a bit misleading.

    Has anyone tried it out?

        After reading the reviews slack found I don't know. Still if it just gives codes it's not all that bad.

          I'd be interested for ABS/bomb codes. I've got both on my S10 and the basic scanners won't do that.

            Those OBD2 readers are all over Amazon for $15 or a bit more with Bluetooth to connect to your phone. The main thing is the app, a guy I know through twitter was looking for one to track his mileage, etc

              yeah, you need those GM specific scanners or the GM upgrade for that crap.
