    if yours had the gaskets inset in to the manifold, did you use an additional gasket? RTV???

      It has the inset gaskets, and I didn't use anything else. If there's nothing wrong with the sealing surface after you clean it, you won't need anything. Just be sure to follow the torque pattern and use the proper torque. In case your instructions don't mention it, you're supposed to double-check the torque after warming up the engine. Presumably the gaskets soften up and might cause a bit of a reduction of the initial torque.

        yeah, the first stage torque specs are in lbs, and second stage is ft lbs
