    Lowering an Aero..............

Saw this video on the 'net.
I know it's a CV but he gives some part numbers in the comment section later on.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th7jEqtOGnI

He listed two Moog spring numbers:

    Front-CC80551
    Rear-CC501

Anyone try this or have any more info?

I might give it a shot after Christmas.
So long and thanks for all the fish.

Haven't done it but do be aware if you do so, the center of gravity changes along with other geometry that affects so many things.

+1 alignment is a must after lowering.

Also, anything that works on a CV will work on an MGM and most likely on a TC of the same vintage.

Since his is a 2003, pretty much any panther 2003-2011 should fit the mods as they all use the same suspension geometry. Rear parts should fit back to 1998 as well.

I seem to remember a white Aero Vic that was pretty slammed. That was a bunch of years ago tho, don't remember any details.

Don't think so... That said, anything that fits a box should fit an Aero as well as far as suspension is concerned. All the mounts are still the same from 79-97. The only gotcha is the upper control arms and ball joints. But if your just going for springs and shocks, box stuff will fit.

Pretty sure this is the car i was thinking of:

Looks like this is what is listed for suspension mods-

                Steering Suspension and Brakes:
Moog pitman arm, upper ball joints, idler arm, inner/outer tie rods
                Steeda X2 lower ball joints
Lowering springs at 2.5" drop from www.coilsprings.com
                Addco front/rear sway bars
                Metco rear control arms
                Bilstein shocks
                ENS polly hardware
                Russel stainless steel brake lines
                98-02 big brake upgrade
                Hawk HPS brake pads
                Powerslot rotors

My 96 was a little lowered. I took a coil of of front springs and got rear springs from ADTR. Not sure if Chris still sell em. He had a set on his 92.

ADTR has that coil-over system with the adjustable ride height from RideTech for 92-02 (should fit 79-02 though no official box testing has been done).

I do, but I cut 3/4 coil out of the front springs, which are the variable Moog units.
I have air ride in the back, so I just moved the sensor.
