    Need help electric problem

Got a problem with my car. I was driving and out if no where my car stalls out so I pull over try to start it and it won't start. Car has power lights everything is on go to start it and the engine turns but will not start . Changed the fuel pump relay still wouldn't start. Had it towed to the mechanic and he changes a fuse it starts I drive off the same thing happened . He put a other fuse with higher amp it blew again . So there must be a shortage somewhere. Well my mechanic could not figure out how to fix my car he's had it for a week and nothing . He said I got to send it to a auto electric specialist. Could be the computer but he's not sure said I had to by the computer and pay for labor and he doesn't know if that'll fix the problem . What you guys think ?

If you get desperate, there is a guy in Kendall thats well known for fixing electrical problems.
As I recall his shop is on SW 56th ST.(Miller Dr.) somewhere between SW102--127th.
He goes by the name of Conejo (rabbit), just about any auto related repair shop or auto parts store in that area knows exactly where he is.
You'll have to ask around, sorry I can't give you the exact address.

Which fuse? A higher amperage fuse is never a good idea. Thats how you melt the wiring harness and cause deeper problems. The computer is also not likely the issue. They don't fail often, and when they do its not normally in a way that burns out fuses.

                  then it's probably the alternator.

Over 1000 $ down the drain still car won't work . Forced to get rid of car. I took it to a auto electric specialist by the way to change the wiring hardness

Oh and the fuse that keeps burning out is for the rear window defroster

The rear defroster switch can sometimes short and there's some pretty fat wires going to it. That circuit doesn't have anything else on it though, so you can live without it. Also, new parts may not always work for long and it could be the alternator that's gone bad. It should be replaced under warranty if that's the case.

if you don't have the owner's manual for the car, you can download it here: http://www.motorcraftservice.com/ (click on Owner Guides on the left and enter your year and model.)
