    87 TC 5.0 running rough

I've been working on this thing for quite awhile now. I finally got it to run but now it has a stammer when accerlerating. It's kind of hard to describe. It idles smooth but when the throttle is pressed the motor vibrates. It's not a loose motor mount I know for sure and it does this hot or cold. Here is a list done to it so far.

    New PIP
    New TPS
    New MAP
    NEW plugs and wires
    New ignition module
    New coil
    Timing set

I'm at a loss here. I was thinking maybe a bad O2 sensor causing on side to running different then the other?? I'm not sure it works like that. Any ideas?

Does it do it in neutral?

Oh good question. I do believe it does. It don't really get worse. basically stays the same even when accelerating. Just a little more pronounced I guess.

Make sure, cause we might be looking at possible transmission problems.

It does this in neutral as well.

ever run a code scan, particularly a cylinder balance test? Also, have you verified that the firing order is correct? I've seen cases where someone mixed up a plug wire and it runs basically ok at idle, but has a distinct miss and vibration at above-idle speeds.

I'd triple-check the firing order on the cap.

ALSO! Verify that cylinder #1's spark plug wire is on the '1' marked on the distributor cap! They do weird things if it's not right.

Haven't run codes on this yet. I was fighting yhis dam car last year before it got too cold out. Al I got then was a TPS low output and thermactor code. Last year I couldn't even get it to run more then a few seconds. Then just a few days ago I tried firing it up after it sitting since last november and it fired and ran. The dam thing is a mystery to me right now. We did work heavily in the distributor area. We fought timing as my dad decided to pull the distributor and jacked up the timing. I will double check the firing order. Thanks
