    the welds are damn good considering he was trying to bridge a gap of at least 1/8". but as mrltd mentioned that huge abrupt step will really disrupt exhaust flow

      i think the biggest reason for the header mod was because of bellhousing obstructions. probably didnt have the right headers and H pipe

              No, just an old, outdated, small-port intake for a 351W, with 16 bolt holes instead of 12 (If I recall correctly), early 351W heads used to have 16 bolt-intakes, those extra 4 bolts right in the water jackets....they are gone now, in modern intakes.
