noob question: will 17x9s fit a 89 TC

I am looking at getting a set of rims for my 89 Towncar. I like the looks of the FR500 Mustang rims. They are available in a 17x9, I am wondering if these would work on my 89 Towncar?

I am looking at getting a wider rim for wider tires for better handling, and larger for the bigger brake swap

Surprisingly I never put that info in the FAQ. Guess I should.

94-03 mustang wheels fit with 1-1.25" Adapters. There are tons of threads on this.

There are a few companies that make knockoff wheels that come with 0mm offset and don't require any spacers. The set I have in the my signature are 17X9 with 0mm offset.

Any wheel that is specifically fitted for 65-73 Mustang 5 lug will bolt up without spacers, and are also hub centric.
