2005 mustang wheels installed - pics

Just installed 17x8 wheels from a 2005 mustang. I think they look decent on a box.

Front spacers: 1.5" thick, not hub-centric (the hub is so long it sticks out of the spacer)

    Rear spacers: 2" thick, hub-centric.

Tires: Kumho 235/55/17 from Tire Rack.

          That is the general consensus.

          Side notes:

          A. If you do the big-brake upgrade on the front, you will need hub-centric spacers on the front too.

          B. Mathematically, a 1.375 spacer would be ideal on the front, in terms of duplicating the stock offset. However: 1) the center caps on these particular wheels need a minimum 1.5 spacer to fit; and 2) 1.25 spacers might not be enough to keep the inside rim lip from hitting the upper control arm.

          C. Due to the slight taper on the front hubs, the wheel is just a little loose (maybe .015) on the hub. I might add some kind of shim material, but so far it's driving just fine.

With the big brakes, the centercaps will fit a lot easier up front too...

If you want to copy this look, here's a hell of a deal on wheels and tires (not mine, just came across it).
