        i read 5x114.3
The thing worries me is I'm trying to buy a new set of Cregars, and I'm worried about wasting a bunch of money on something that doesn't fit.

        Heres what I'm looking at

        Size:15x8 Bolt Pattern:5x114.3 Offset:-12.70

You should be fine. Negative offset moves the wheel further out along the axle centerline. -12.70 mm offset is only a 1/2 inch, anyway.

              In my experience:

An 8" wheel means the wheel is 8" wide between the beads. About 9" wide overall. With 0 offset, you'd have 4.5" of backspace. With a -12.70mm offset, you'd have 4" of backspacing.

              A non-issue.
