    8.8 swap

Im going to pull another 8.8 from the junk yard to fix up, so I can drive my car while im doing this. I am going to buy the summit LS carrier and a set of 3.73 gear first. Would you guys recommend that? OR, should I get the rear end first. What do I need to consider when I order the gears and carrier? Or are all the 8.8's the same?

Big Brake swap and front suspension completed.

as far as I know, the inside of the 8.8 diff is the same no matter the vehicle. It's the axle shafts that can vary due to different length axles for different vehicles. Sometimes the housing is thicker depending on material and year, but the inside is the same all around I'm sure. Might be good to get the rear first just to make sure though.
