1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.

cool...just doing rear springs for now i think. it's my birthday next week and i was told i needed to pick a present. might order the cc819s.
it might ride funny with all new shocks, new rear coils, and original coils up front. what do you think?sigpic

I'd think you'll still be VERY happy. I like the way cargos flatten out the handling a bit.

I had good results (so far) with cleaning the original spring isolators from my car and conditioning them with Wurth rubber care. I also wrapped the bottoms of my rear springs with approx 6" of high-temp silicone lined heater hose. I put a very light coat of brake lube on the bottom coil, and the proper size hose slid right on by hand. It also sits very nicely on the spring perch after it settles in for a few hours. This way, the rear seemed noticeably quieter, while affecting ride height by barely 1/8". I just figured it's a cheap and readily available option.

for some reason, ordering CC819s and insulators, plus a PCV valve grommet costs MORE than ordering CC819s in one order and the insulators/grommet in another. weird canadiadia shipping.
