    front cargo coils?

    Hi!

Thinking I'll do my front springs too now: a little stiffer ride, less dipping in corners. I won't mind if it drives like an f150.

    What's the part number?

I know moog cc819 was for the rear springs: is a cargo coil available for the front springs? What is the part number?
If not, standard linear coils are cool, too.

    thanks!

It would handle like shit if there were such springs. Do you already have sway bars all around and low profile tires?

      how would it handle worse?

sway bars-- but not low profile tires. Actually, I kind of prefer light truck tires on it.

Admittedly, I'm taking a steering & suspension class right now, and am just looking for something to do! The ball joints were all in fine condition, so I can't do them
The car had soft rear springs (like: 600lbs would bottom it out), so I'm thinking the front springs might also be just a little soft-- which could cause the slight left pull, as I'm sitting in the left seat.
I suppose the proper way to check is put a friend in the driver's seat and measure the ride height to see if it's genuinely saggy.

Off topic: but any other steering & suspension related thing I can do to my car?

First throw it on an alignment rack and see what the geometry looks like. Take height measurements and see how even the left and right sides of your car are sitting.

          What'cha driving? A box, right?

Isn't there a heavy duty cop front spring for the box?

Agreed on sway bars, man, they are the best bang for buck I think, and the Energy sway bar bushings.

If you're feeling aggressive, Energy upper and lower control arm bushings ftw. I think your teacher would like that too. You could go a step further and do the big brake swap (I didn't, but because of money not desire). Heck, just rip the whole front end off the car and replace it lol.

if your looking for a slight upgrade you can go with the cop springs...they are a little stiffer than stock, or if you want something crazy stiff you can go with what Duce posted.
Chances are your springs are already saggy...so you may even benefit from a stock replacement....but the cop springs are a good option (Side note, i believe the ride height is actually higher than civi cars)

How are your shocks?? bushings?? Do you have civilian sway bars or cop bars?

X2 on the alignment rack...don't trust most shops, even if they adjust the toe correctly most of them wont come anywhere near touching the camber/caster adjustment, if they even know how to.
