    When its time.........brakes

    Ok my '86 MGM Tudor shows enough brake lining for now............but when time for new brakes should I go back to OEM FoMoCo, or after market?

    The stock brakes suck no matter what you use, pick your poison.

      just don't buy cheap of the cheap pads. They're dirty and tend to not work very well. The cheap ceramics are also terrible. Not dirty, but they don't stop.

        We put new everything on Ashley's car pretty much right after she got it. Old girl was kind enough to drive nicely for two weeks and then one caliper started to drag. We put Raybestos? ceramic pads on it along with the new rotors & calipers and it stops well. Actually has better pedal feel than my car, I'm guessing the pads & calipers are the reasons why.
