    X2.

150 blinks per minute! That's crazy. Seems like that'd be too fast. When I get one flashing that fast, I replace it!

That's more than twice a second, barley detectable!!!

About one per second or a smidge slower sounds about right to me. 50 per minute would be right about where it belongs just from casual observations of other vehicles on the road. I live in New Jersey, and cars here do not blink at 150 per minute. Are you paying someone, or are you going through freebie state inspection? If you have about one flash per second, go to a state facility. They tend to not care all that much about amazingly idiotic stuff.

My dad's '90 would have failed inspection too, cause they blinked too slow. Some of these guys are real hardasses.

Thanks Jumbo, that link is great. I'd never heard of O-pipe technology before. They have the dual-inlet one for dual exhausts, but I think I'll do even better with two of the single-inlet variety. Maybe it'll even slow down the rate of wear on my muffler bearings?

Your local inspection station must be staffed by hardasses. I'd request a copy of whatever guide they are using as a reference for the speed of the blinker. I've never heard of such a thing before.

                    Hi

The law requires 60 - 120 flashes a minute here in the U.K

What you need is an Electronic Flasher Upgrade.

                    Regards

Electronic flashers are definitely a nice upgrade. You shouldn't have to make one though, they have ones that plug right in and fit just like the old one.

When i saw the thread title i thought this thread was going to be about using to 4 way blinkers to slow down on the highway in the case of an emergency.

Now i get it, blinkers too slow means something different

                        i'm bored
