    Try This Resistor.

    They are only little fellas, I soldered wires onto each end, then encased it in heat shrink folded the wires over and put another layer of heatshrink over it to git it some protection.

    The value of the resistor is what gives you the delayed exit time, the higher the resistance the longer the delayed exit lights on time, I found 60Kohms gave about 30 seconds of delayed exit, if you want longer up the resistance.

    wow that's not what I expected. I expected it to look a little different. Cool.

      I got the resistor and I will try to get the relay sometime this week.
      Dereck I was wondering what the color codes on the headlight harness is.
      Like I saw the brown wire for the parking lights and that's the only one I could see.

        http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/1EGF4 I found a relay, I think this one should work. It's double pole, double throw relay. And, their warehouse (Grainger) is nearby so I can go to it when I get the money together. I can use this one right Dereck?

            Thanks mang. I ordered it and it should be here Tuesday, or somewhere around there. I also decided to get the base to make the wiring easier.
            Also Dereck, I was wondering what the color codes on the headlight wiring harness is.

                  Hi 86VickyLX

                  You do not need to splice into the hi/lo beam wires you only need to splice into the parking lights and headlights wires from the back of the main light switch.

                  You need the following wires from the main light switch;

                  Brown = parking lights
                  Red/Yellow = headlights (to multi-function switch)
                  Tan/White = fused supply for parking ligts
                  Black/Orange = fused supply for headlights

                  Regards

                      Big question!!!!! Do I need a switch at all? Like for example the push button switch that connects to the Purple/Orange wire on the Day/Night sensor harness. Do I need a switch at all? If not, what do I do with that wire?

                        Other than that, everything else is set up and ready to go.

                          Hi 86VivkyLX

                          No you do not need a switch just ground the Purple/Orange wire from the day/night sensor and the autolamps will be always on.

                              Perhaps I should have said "The autolamp system will always be active whenever you are driving the car".
