    Heater core replacement.

My heater core sprung a leak, my heat smells like anti-freeze and I can see it dripping on the floor. Can I get to it by pulling the glove box out or do I have to pull the whole dash out?

you jus have to pull the glove box, undo the main dash frame bolt on the pass side so the dash is flexible and undo the bolts from the engine compartment that hold the box in place, then the box should wiggle out then its all straight forward from there

Dripping on the ground, outside the car? Or inside the car, on the carpet?

On the floor, inside the car.

Hmmm, is the HVAC box drain plugged, or is your leak just really ferocious?

I'm waiting till spring to fix mine as I don't want to crack my plastic in this cold ass weather.

i replaced the heater core in the mark VII that was an all day job, had to yank the whole dash back out of the way, but i think it would be easyer in a panther

its much easier on a panther, especially lincolns
