    This is stupid

    I know this is dumb, but how do i get the tail light cover off of my lincoln so that i can replace a break lamp?

    the bulbs are accesable from the trunk, jus pull the carpet back lol

          alright, so id pulled back the carpet, but do i have to remove everything under ther carpet, all the metal junk behind the light?

            with the carpet pulled away from the sides, you should see the bulb socket. Give it a 1/4 turn and it pulls out of the taillight if I'm not mistaken. If not, its possible the Mark VI has some odd bullshit that I'm not familier with. Never worked on one of those. The instructions ought to be in the owner's manual if you have that.

              I was trying to turn it but i was afraid it would break, guess ill try again
