    Anyone know where I can get OEM yellow bulb grease?

    Hey all,

    I've had my car back from the shop for about a week now but am having problems with the parking lamp, doesn't always stay lit. The socket was paritally ripped apart during the wreck so I suspect a wire is only attached by a few strands of copper. I'm going to take it apart to fix it but I want to buy more of that yellow grease all of the OEMs use (the socket in question is loaded with the stuff) to put back in when I'm done. Do any of you know what it's called or where you can buy it? Small things kill me, I'm happy the shop didn't lop off that connector in the first place to replace it and if I don't put that yellow crap back in I won't be able to sleep at night lol.

    I found this:
    MOLYKOTEŽ G-5008, but it seems you can't buy it anywhere as all I'm finding are MSDS's.

    dielectric grease. parts store or hardware store.

      I prefer the clear-ish dielectric grease... but then I'm not having my cars judged for perfect original quality.

        I've got a tube of the clear crap but its just one of those things. If I can keep it original I'll do my best but if not then I'm at the mercy of whatever suppliers are making alternatives. Bobcat, the parts stores by you have the yellow stuff?

          I also prefer the clear stuff since the yellow stuff tends to crust up and cause issues here in the south. The clear tends to remain a gel longer

              +1 on the clear stuff. That yellow shit turns to glue and you can't get the damn bulbs out. I've destroyed some number of lamps on my own car when an original failed and that yellow shit just would not let go.

                      Turns out the bulb was bad, wasn't anything wrong the wires.
