So question on this. My marker lamps consistently stop working. If I take the bulb socket out and wiggle it will start working and once I started driving they will stop again. A short maybe? I'm gonna look at the wiring tomorrow but could this possibly because that regulator to act up? I've switched in 3 different regulators and nothing changed. Just a theory

What marker lights, the illumination of the gauges? Those are 12V straight, the IVR has nothing at all to do with them. Pull all the bulb sockets put and bend their contacts so they are away from the body and more towards the bulb, this will ensure a good contacts to the printed circuit when you reinstall them. May wanna do some sanding where copper has oxidized as well.

+1 bad connection on the bulb.

Only thing the IVR does is run the fuel gauge and temperature gauge (if equipped). Any other electrical demons are not it's fault.
