How to strip/polish an aluminum intake for dummies

That's about where i would quit! i admire the dedication needed to get one of those this shiny... and you realize by doing this, you've indirectly committed yourself to polish every other piece of aluminum under to hood as well, right??!!
One guy here had a lot of his smaller aluminum bits polished, it looked really slick.
