    Front end rattles...

I have had a rattle on the front end of my car for a few months, and no time to try to track them down. Yesterday, I finnally had time, so I tracked it down. Turns out that the plastic turn signals, and corner lights were the source... So I pulled them, and took them apart, cleaned them up, (while I was at it.) And then used some silicone to glue them back into the frame. I used some of the small wood working type clamps to hold them in place until the silicone set and dried. Then reinstalled all the screws, and re mounted them on the car... No more rattles!!! For the first time in months, it doesn't sound like the front of my car ia about to fall off!!!

I guess when these cars were new, the screws were able to hold the plastic in place...
