    front end swap

I'm helping a guy swap an 03 GM front end unto an 02 GM. All the parts are suppose to fit with no problems.
But I've already noticed that the two small bolts at the front of the 03 fender where it meets the 02 core support don't match up.
The holes in the 03 fender are 2" apart while the holes in the 02 core support are 2.5" apart.
Has anybody ever done this swap? can I expect a few more surprises?
    Thanks!

Core support changed in '03, IIRC.

Yes, you're right, the core support did change in 03.
But according to all the cross over books, the fenders should interchange with no problem.
And this is a problem, maybe a small one but a problem.
So I'm wondering what other problems are going to crop up?
