    And so it begins......

This is the starting point. A 1987 crown vic. I am removing everything that doesn't make it faster. If you have any needs, let me know. The parts coming off are going to go CHEAP! window motors, rear door glass, all controls, wiper motor, and all interior pieces.

Why do you want a spooled rear end?

I don't think so. Yours might have the newer window motors that have a bigger bolt pattern. My uncles 90 Vic has the newer style window motors.

The top one is the old style and the bottom one is the new style. I also think they have different teeth as well.

Is this gonna be a full time drag racer? That and offroading are the only times I can think of that a spooled rear end would be nice and I doubt you're gonna take that car mudding or rock crawling.

It will be street legal, but isn't being built to be a daily driver. It will be more drag oriented. I've had a couple cars with spools. I wouldn't recomend a lot of city driving(or highway either for that matter) but they do handle street duty. Rain X will handle any showers I may get caught in.
