    I would replace both. Once rust gets in there it's a bitch and a half to get it all out. Fenders are easy to change. At least easier then rear quarters.

    The motor is strong and doesn't burn much oil. A tune-up wouldn't hurt though.

    My GMQ is worth $1900 Pretty good considering I only paid $1000 for it!! I'm going to get another fender when the winter is over.

    1. Yeah, the engine bay is quite dirty but it's too cold to clean it this time of year.

    2. I'm waiting until the Spring to have a new fender installed. In May, my other 2 cars will be coming out of storage. When the Merc needs service, I'll be able to drive one of them instead

    3. The exhaust has been repaired and the car is inspected until Jan '10.

    4. The transmission shifts smoothly without any quirks. The fluid is still good at this time. The Merc's original owner was a lady in her 90's and she kept all the service records.

    Mang to GMN and congrats for the adoption of that hurt Panther inorder to put taht Panther in good condition do the same but already know it .

    1- Clean the engine bay

    2-repare the fender or replace it

    3-repare the exhaust or you can take the oportunity to upgrade for double exhaust.

    4- do an overhaul of the transmission

    out of that is up to you to make more light,moderate or heavy mods, oce again Congratulations for that Panther and hope it gives you many years of good service mang and if you need suggestions tech support and clarify ?????? don't hesitate to post and our panel of experts will gladly help you.
