Painter from the body shop said 3 months...

And yes that is the Whitestone Bridge.

Thanks guys!...Cant wait to do this to my Escort. That will be getting cleaned inside and out. Wash, bug and tar remover all behind the wheels on the panels, clay bar, compound on the bumper covers and door moldings and by the door handles, polish and wax! 303 treatments on the rubbers and plastics etc...

Niiiiiice!!! But you could at least afford to drink something better than Budweiser:smirk:.

BTW, I did the same thing today with my mom's CV and my S-10.

Looks fancy! Wish I had the time and inclination to shine and wax something.

            Thanks guys.

Teach the kid something. Hand him a wax pad some wax and a towel to wipe it off and see what happens. If he is into it he can make some nice money on the side once he gets older.

the paint job alone is worth a POTM... that's an awesome car.

                    Thanks guys.

I am so glad that this car can actually be preserved now being that I have another car to drive. Really really really puts me at ease that the car should last longer now. Plus it is fun going from a dinky 94 Escort to a beefy 87 Crown Vic and feeling the difference all around..handling, acceleration, top speed, comfort etc..the list goes on and on.

heh... and people ask me why in the world I sold that 93 escort. umm... COMFORT. it's nowhere near as comfy as these boats. also, it's nowhere near as quick (except around corners - that 93 escort would corner a 90 degree turn doing 30mph with almost no tire squeal... Pirelli P4 on each wheel too - 32psi each.)

going from the saturn to the mustang feels crazy. the clutch in the mustang makes my left leg bigger i swear, then you can barely feel the clutch in the saturn...its weird, i mean its normal, but weird. ya know?

im still on the fence, i like the way the cable clutch feels (you can actually feel the clutch) then i like the hydraulic deal on the saturn. but theres no 'feel'

then i get into my truck and need to get into the 'truck' driving mindset again. lmao.

Congrats on POTM!!! Though not for nothing, I wish they had waited a month for the warmer weather. Then you would have the Bullitts on that car. That would be the proverbial icing on teh cake.
