                You guys are funny.

Removed the V6 wheels and installed the bullitts this morning. Not sure how much I am liking them. Maybe I am just not used to them...or it may be the brushed aluminum center caps. I may paint the old centers trim black and pop them in there....I am just not feeling them yet.

Hmm. I'd go wider, with bigger tires in the rear. They look a little stuffed in to me.

                            Profile shot looks good, though.

The V6 wheels look 'at home' on these cars, especially when they are lowered. Mine are going to stay around for a while (until I make some rear changes), just because I think they add a little sleeper element. Not sure how it'll hook on them, but we'll find out.

The 140 mph police interceptor speedometer looks SO much better than the damned Joan Claybrook 85 mph one.

And the "objects in mirror are losing" is damned funneh!!! I saw one of them on a Porsche Carrera at a euro car show about a year ago. I will put one on my Mercedes AMG one day.

Glad you went for the full sized spare like I always have done on my Panthers.

Those were the things I liked the most about what you have done. The dual exhaust conversion is a must, too, that I see you already took care of..

Your car is the very very last of the 2 door Panthers, I know that because I got a 1988 Crown Victoria LTD back in 1988 myself. The 1988 restyle included the coupe delete.

It's obvious the car is much cherished. I am glad to see that. Most of them were abused or indifferently cared for by thei owners.

Jim....you gotta look through more than just the first couple of pages. That 140 speedo is long gone..I have a nother 140 speedo with oil gauge and water gauge installed.

Mirror sticker is long gone as well because I installed NOS ones after the resto.

This car has been through a lot since I first joined.

                                Thanks for the complements mang.

I agree with the rear...really sunk in. That is $500 worth of brand new tires on the car. I can't change them now. I have 255/50/R17's all around right now. Maybe a newer wider rear end would help out. I do have the trusty escort which could haul one easily with the rear seats folded down...I just can't haul something that heavy myself.

I also got really attached to the V6 wheels. Maybe that if why I need some warming up to the re-instillation of the bullitts.

                                Thanks Nate

I actually am liking them a bit more now already looking at them. I think once I shine up the rims of the wheels it will look better to me.

Can't wait for warmer weather...dead pedal, Mustang Fog Light switch and Mustang Amp Pull switch to come.
