    my 85 351 ltd

    we found this car at a local junk yard for $500, so my dad took the money from me to get it(still hasn't paid me back). when he got it the inside looked just as bad as the trunk still does with dust. All we have done besides clean it up so far is, put some gauges in it. hope you like it

      That's in better condition than the '81 I was looking at the other day. I guess the pre-'86 CVs had a full vinyl top option. The vinyl had completely peeled off of the '81 except for the A-pillars. Surface rust all over and trash thrown into the interior. Your '85 looks like it just needs a little cleaning and some replacement of some carpeting. Other than that, a nice project or DD.

          160KMs 600cfm holley, shorty headers, 2.5" catted exhaust, 255/295 tires, cop shocks, cop swaybars, underdrive pulley, 2.73L gears.
          waiting for install: 3.27's, Poly bushings, boxed rear arms, 2500 stall converter, ported e7's, etc

          06 Mazda 3 hatch 2.3L 5AT (winter beater that cost more than my summer car)

            1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
            2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
            1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
            1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
            2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad

              yes we drove it home, we just had to swap another junk yard carb on it to drive it.

                then i drove it 300 miles to my post without knowing much about it, and it did great. before i left the only thing my dad said was the top stays on it. but i have a bad feeling the car wash might take it off in the morning.

                    gotta love the 500 dollar cars....i havent paid more than that for a car since i was 16

                        You're at Fort Riley, that's about 2 hours down I-70 west from me, i'm in the KC area, Overland Park. Looks like a rare find, let me know if you ever travel up this way.
