pretty much since, those sections of the car were cut out for rust/panel repair. Thats why we ended up stripping the car right down, after body work was started. The common areas around the fire wall and around door hinges were rusty. Grinding them out some and painting over was not an option for me. Wanted all rust from around the body gone. My other doner car was rust free in those areas, due to oil saturation over 30 years. I have pics of when we went back and cut up more of the cars lol. So, essentially half the body and the full frame were used from toms car. Front fenders will be replaced next year too.

Me too. Very important part of going back to original body. Bumper swap is next, since I have that hanging around. Need to dig out my vent inserts too. Will need to be repainted before install.

Vents are on their way! Its one busy year so far so, progress is slow. Couple weeks ago, I was able to get the new rims installed. They are the cragar soft 8.

I really want to get my front bumper swapped out but, something else always comes up. The progress continues...

That's what she says; subconsciously, she wants to scratch its eyes out.

All levity aside, you have done an awesome job with that car. It has come a long way in a short period of time.

I will take a better photo when I can get the right lighting lol.

Really have not had much time to tinker. I have to replace the front bumper so, its my next priority. Hate being so busy during summer.

They look good! I especially like how well the tach fits in the clock location.

What brand gauges are you running? Are they electric or analog?
