        Nein.

I decided to add some American ingenuity to it. I hope it doesn't throw a fit because of it. lol

Giving it that mid 2000s' Chrysler feel?

Do mid 2000's chryslers utilize a vast amount of zip ties to "fix" things.

                  Thanks Guys.

Took it on it's first (to me) road trip. Bout 300 miles round trip to ez pull and back. Car logged 30.4mpg on the entire trip with an average mph in the high 60's. This impressed me as the Escort got worse mileage than this. I had the cruise control set at 75 for most of the trip. lol Cruise control was something I really wished the escort did have while I owned it.

In other news I ordered a glove box shelf for it. Was a standard piece provided with the car in 2003 but in 2004 and on they cut it out of production. The glove box is pretty useless without some sort of divider. I mean it does have the rails for the shelf for gods sake....

Also ordered a passengers side door latch assembly. The assembly houses the door lock actuator and inside it a spring breaks and causes the door lock to go up and down like a machine gun. lol unfortunately I didn't do my research and purchased an entirely new assembly before realizing that a spring kit could be purchased for much less to fix the issue. Next time I know.

I'll update when the parts arrive and I install them.

I also been looking into a shelf that mounts inside the trunk to hold little doodads as well as spoiler that sits above the rear window and one that mounts on the lip of the trunk.......Oh boy. It begins AGAIN.

Bleek, but I was surprised that I saw at minimum three box town cars with sunroofs. lol

Two wagons, and nothing older than 86 on the box front. About 5 mkVII ((at least two were BB edition)cool center caps with the HPP like wheels they had...only two though). Didn't look at anything on aero's and whales though I know I seen a few.

I can do without living through that twice. I had a permenant ass hood dent on my '94 Dodge Shadow that was there until it's death. Definitely not a really interesting story... I stumbled backwards and fell hard on the hood outside an italian ice place sometime in '03... never fixed it. Nothing more awesome than "dude ass dent"...

Beautiful day out today so after I took the Vic for a spin (actually 120+ miles trip) I washed the Benz up to get it pretty looking for the work week. I also took a bunch of pics!

And the engine....Also remnants of previous owners worries when he took it to shops for oil changes. Duct tape saying "mobile one only."
