    getting glue out of carpet?

OK, does anyone have a clue how I might get some superglue out of my carpet? I had a small bottle of the brush-on stuff sitting in my cupholder. Apparently it fell out of there and ended up on the carpet where it leaked. I now have about a half dollar size white solid spot on my carpet from this crap. Any way I can get that out short of trimming the carpet with scissors or replacing it? Even if there was just some way to sort of break it up so it was less obvious would work. Thoughts?

A quater size hard white blob in your carpet eh....sure it's glue? lol I'd carefully take a razor blade to it and then a wire wheel or wire brush. But it is super glue. I don't think there is anything that can melt super glue that won't melt the carpet first.

Will alcohol loosen it up... and not hurt the carpet?

Not sure. I'll have to try it when I have time. This moving BS sucks.
