Can anyone confirm whether the rubber tips on the ends of the sun visors for Boxes - specifically Town Cars - are the same part Ford used in visors through the '60s and '70s? Any listing for replacement tips only shows compatibility for vehicles through '79, but judging by the pictures it looks like the visor design is similar through the '80s.
I picked up a pair of visors from the junkyard and between them and my existing set they're all missing the bit that secures them to the retaining clip. The previous owner wrapped tape around the ends to make up the difference, which works but is bush league.
