I was wondering, how difficult is it to replace the cluster lighting of an 88 Marquis with a different color? I was thinking of using LED's. And I really don't have any idea what I'm doing.

well others with a MGM will chime in, but it can be done. the are called 5 led 194 bulbs or something like that. I installed them on my CV. I had to remove the enitre cluster. Take the cluster apart, remove the existing color caps and them just pop in your the 5 led 194 bulbs you bought. then re-install.
here is how it will then look like with green bulbs.

Thanks. I've already been into the cluster, I had to tighten my speedometer cable, and also when I removed the dash. That looks very nice with that green, a lot better than the stock blue-green awful color. I was thinking of putting in bright red lights to match my CD player, and soon, my exterior paint scheme.Comment

Just make sure you pull the blue domes, otherwise you'll have purple light. The 5 way LEDs work well.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
